CAN YOU USE FREEVIEW ON NON-FREEVIEW UNIT?
The answer is YES!
You can use watch local NZ Freeview channels on Non-Freeview Unit however, as per the disclaimer on our ' WELCOME TO GENERAL SUPPORT', SmartBox does not own or control any add-on & the internet streams that is enabled/ accessible on the system.
We highly recommend purchasing Freeview HD SmartBox unit and using Satellite or UHF antenna for stable local Freeview Channels.
Now to move on to how to access 'Freeview NZ' channels over internet streams if you do not have a Freeview HD SmartBox or do not have Satellite/ UHF connected to your Freeview HD SmartBox yet.
Step 1. Open Media Centre
Step 2. Scroll to 'Free TV'
Step 3. Click on 'Free TV'
Step 4. Click on channel of choice and wait for it to play
Note.
SmartBox do not own or control the Freeview streams accessible on the system, if the channels are not working, this is called 'down-time' while the developer who creates the add-on and manages/ fixes it so it works again
